Amy Poehler, an American comedian, actor as well as writer, producer, and voice-over artist, with a networth of $25 million. She's a multi-talented American. Her most well-known role was as the star of the NBC show "Parks and Recreation". The actress has also been in several films. The first time she became famous was thanks her appearance on "Saturday night Live".Amy is born in Newton, Massachusetts on September 16th of 1971. Her parents both taught. Greg is her younger brother who is also a performer/actor. Amy is born in Burlington Massachusetts located in the suburbs of Boston. Amy discovered her acting talent by playing Dorothy in"The Wizard of OZ" at her high school in the year 10-years-old. When she was in high school, Amy was active in drama and an elected student council member. The soccer team she played and softball with the team. Her high school graduation was in 1989 and enrolled at the nearby Boston College. Amy was part of an improv troupe during college. She completed her studies at Boston College in 1993.In 1996, four UCB members including Poehler moved to New York City. The UCB performed in small venues in New York City. Poehler was also featured in several episodes from "Late Night with Conan O'Brien", performing sketches.
